Fuel pump problem in Indonesia has an attention from the first Chairman of Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo) Jongkie D. Sugiarto. He confirms the association of car manufacturers is collecting reports of complaints related to fuel pump problems. According Jongkie there are several possible contributing factor is, first, the quality of gasoline is low. Second, the storage tanks at gas stations are dirty. Third, it was likely there components of fuel pump damage that could be caused by production errors. He argued if the report indicates a problem with the quality of fuel or petrol stations, of the association would deliver a letter to Pertamina for questioning. About the possibility of damage of defects, Syaufi deny it expressly.
